Art, culture, and entertainment in Madrid, based on OpenData.
By retrieving data from Madrid Council OpenData Portal (http://datos.madrid.com), our purpose is to make these data accessible and friendly by building an API and an application for mobile devices (android based).
Thanks to the rich big amount and broad variety of data stored in the Madrid CouncilOpen Data Portal, many functionalities can be build over this corpus. In our particular case, our main goal is to facilitate, through a mobile application a single point of entry to all the cultural catalogue offered by the local council.
The app we have designed is aimed to be highly user-friendly, especially for the eldest users, thanks to the use of a simplified interface, with big and colourful buttons.
