Full Description

The city of Somerville has massive amounts of data, but they are lacking qualitative information from many of the stakeholders involved in policy decisions. SomerSpeak is a platform that reaches out to the citizens of Somerville with relevant questions about topics they care about. Users can participate via the webpage or by SMS and easily see what others are talking about. We intend to leverage their responses over time to tailor the questions to each user, making them more likely to respond and feel like their voice is being heard.
